Is it safe to go?
Although the media plays up the violence in Israel and the surrounding countries, it is no more common than in the United States. Israel is actually one of the safest countries in the middle east. Thousands upon thousands of tourists visit Israel every year and return safely with amazing stories to tell.
What to expect?
This will not be your typical tourist trip. This trip will be full of visiting important archeological sites that have been hand-picked by Chris and James. We will use these sites to encounter the scriptures in new ways. Every day will be full of new insight into the scriptures as we place them in their original context. Expect a high-level of discussion and explanation and a deep level of digging into the Bible.
Hi James, I’m interested in the trip. Ann Mitchell from Prestoncrest. almitch33@gmail.com
I wish I could go! Just wanted to say that you are doing amazing work. Praise G-d for the Internet. G-d willing I will be able to share the knowledge of his kingdom with others like you have using the Internet. So often Christians talk about serving others and loving others which they do but ultimately they mix with only other Christians in their church. Jesus said “how easy is it to love those that love you” going on further to say that we should love on the people who don’t love us and change people’s hearts through the word of G-D. Your piece on Kashrut and Jesus was awesome! It speaks to Jews and Gentiles alike.
I just came across your site. I’m quite interested in learning with you. I would love to go to the promised land on this chag Shavuot. A bit late for registration though, it seems. :) Perhaps next year, in Yerushalayim.
Actually, the trip got moved to January of 2013. Still interested?
I think I should wait for one of the pilgrimage chags so I can at least do it once in my life, and I was thinking Shavuot would be perfect. Maybe if you plan it again.
How much is the deposit that is due in sept? Is it the full price of the trip? God Willing i would love to come on this trip with like minded believers, it sounds great. Especially After the events that are building up to happen late 2012 :-) thanks
The deposit will likely be $500. We would be happy for you to come with us.
